What we do
You stay the FSVP importer of record. We act as your qualified individual on the Mexico side: we know the farms, speak with suppliers in Spanish and turn their certificates and audits into FSVP-ready records.
A written analysis of the known or reasonably foreseeable hazards for each food you import.
We review each supplier's food safety performance, certifications, audit results and compliance history, and document your approval.
We define and document the right activities for each supplier: onsite audits, sampling and testing, or records review.
One organized file per supplier, plus a master list showing status and expiration dates at a glance.
We track expiring certificates and audits, schedule reevaluations and add new suppliers as your sourcing changes.
Preparation for FSVP inspections and help responding to FDA observations.
1
You tell us your products and suppliers; we send a proposal with scope and timeline.
2
A clear list of what is missing, supplier by supplier.
3
We collect documents from your Mexican suppliers and complete each file.
4
Ongoing monitoring, reevaluations and inspection readiness.
Under FSMA, the U.S. owner or consignee of imported food at the time of entry generally must have an FSVP for each food from each foreign supplier, unless an exemption applies.
No. Your company remains the FSVP importer and is identified at entry. We prepare and maintain your program as your qualified individual and support you during FDA inspections.
A GFSI certificate is strong evidence for your supplier evaluation, but FSVP still requires your own documented hazard analysis, approval and verification activities.
At least every three years, and sooner when you learn of new information about a hazard or a supplier's performance.
